Recovery begins where the everyday ends. The Garni Iosc, located in the idyllic mountain village of St. Vigil, is a small, sophisticated B&B establishment that allows you to spend relaxing walking and skiing holidays in the Dolomites. With its roots in the qualities of our homeland, we have lovingly created a place where you will feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The natural materials and traditional furnishings of the rooms harmoniously combine to produce a feeling of comfort and warmth. Your days with us should be a time where you can simply relax.
Ours is family-run accommodation that offers you the chance to appreciate land and people to the full. Free and uninhibited, inspired by pleasant encounters and a fabulous panorama.
Farm holidays
Life in the mountains is marked by its close contact to nature, its feeling of solidarity with the homeland and its living traditions. Here you can witness the authentic farming culture of our valley with all your senses.
Surrounded by the precipitous beauty of the Dolomites, our renovated farm with its typical local architecture fits perfectly into the landscape. Like our forebears, we keep cows and chickens and cultivate vegetables, fruit and herbs. A true close-up of genuine rural life! The smell of freshly mown hay, the animals in their stalls and the simple life on the farm will all make your days with us a rich experience.
A stay at the Iosc offers children in particular a happy, exciting time. Away from the big city, in a refreshing country idyll, summer holidays become a simple pleasure for all the family.
Homemade products
As is only fitting for a farm, we make plenty of things ourselves. Our guests too benefit form this: breakfast at the Iosc means the best from nature on your plate.
Strawberries, raspberries and cranberries in the jar. Our jams don’t just taste good; they are also free of artificial preservatives. The ingredients ripen in our own garden or are gathered locally, while the eggs come from free-range chickens in the farmyard – a joy for fans of organic farming and gourmets alike. Or how about a glass of fresh milk? A real pick-me-up with your coffee. We also produce our own lettuce, tomatoes and potatoes.
With us you know what you are eating. Look forward to a hearty breakfast of regional products to make sure you start the day full of vitality.
Prices & offers
Room prices
- Prices are per person including breakfast.
- Supplement for short stays (less than three nights): € 5.00 - € 10.00 per day
- Supplement for usage as single room: € 5.00 - € 10.00
- Rooms are available from 2 p.m. Please vacate your room by 10 a.m. on the day of your departure.
Apartment Prices
- The prices quoted for the apartment are for two people.
- Price for each additional person 30.00 euros per day.
- Surcharge for breakfast 14.00 euros per person.
- Daily cleaning of the apartment or intermediate cleaning EUR 14.00 upon request. Final cleaning included in the price.
- If you wish to take pets with you on vacation (small animals), please let us know beforehand.

Reservation
For each reservation we ask for a deposit of 150,00 Euro. Please transfer the reservation amount to the following bank account: Raiffeisenkasse Gadertal - IBAN: IT88X0801058550000305018129 Swift: RZSBIT21508. In case of cancellation the deposit will be kept as cancellation fee. In case of early departure we charge the total reservation amount.

Activity & nature in the winter
A wonderful world of white with endless possibilities for fun: St. Vigil and its surroundings is no place for stay-at-homes.
Ski pistes, cross-country trails and toboggan runs will all tempt you outdoors.
Not far from the Garni Iosc is the Kronplatz ski area (ski bus direct from the door), a joy for piste fans. With 100 km of slopes and ultra-modern lift facilities, here skiers can find everything they want: pistes of all degrees of difficulty, varying lengths and a spectacular panorama. The easy slopes are ideal places for beginners and families, while the black pistes will challenge even the finest skiers. St. Vigil offers you the chance to experience a fantastic Dolomite ski holiday at the Kronplatz!
Those of a gentler disposition can discover the snow-covered world of the Dolomites and the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Prags: there are countless opportunities for cross-country skiing, sledging, winter walks and snow-shoe walks.

St. Vigil is surrounded by a vast network of footpaths that run through flowering Alpine pastures, past sunny mountain huts, up into Alpine regions: well-marked paths leading hikers and nature lovers to their destination. Challenging high-level walks and fixed-rope climbs make the Dolomites a playground for adventurous types, while a successful climb is rewarded with fantastic views. Look forward to a summer full of experiences and healthy exercise.
See and be amazed: marmots, squirrels, chamois and golden eagles all reside in the Nature Park of Fanes-Sennes-Prags. Listen and tell your friends: thousands of sagas and legends surround the Dolomites and their inhabitants.
